About Me
I am Amanda Roy! I am a certified yoga instructor and studio owner of YogAmanda Studio. I am based out of Norwich, Ontario, a small town a couple hours outside of Toronto. Here I am living the yogic path, running my studio, guiding and supporting my children and husband.

I am fairly new to the world of yoga - having done not much yoga other than a few yoga workouts. After injuring my back in healthcare, I had no other option but to leave my job and begin my search for something else. Discovering that there is so much more to yoga than a few workouts, my eyes were opened and I immediately knew that this was my calling. Yoga has guided me as I navigate through my own inner work and trauma, and strive for unity with the Divine.

I started my Yoga Teacher Training - an 8 month intensive online program in the Sacred Yoga Methodology - in September of 2021. I have since then graduated, started my own studio and would be honoured to guide you through your journey.
Fun Facts
I opened my first studio, YogAmanda Studio, in February 2021 and it is my heart's pride and joy
I have 4 children, 2 cats (Smalls & Smudge), and 2 dogs (Daisy & Fern)!
You will most likely find me practicing yoga, teaching yoga, gardening, reading sacred texts, and spending time with my family
Namaste!

I am so excited to be here. I am a mother of two, one girl and one boy. They are my world, my everything. My children have watched me exercise their entire lives. It has been such an important part of my daily routine.

Pilates has been my go-to for almost 20 years. I love it because it's a great way to build core strength, without all the added equipment. Pilates is a low impact workout that works your whole body, in a different. I will help you create balance, strength and flexibility in your body. It's also an excellent way to fire up those abdominal muscles!

Most important reminder.... everyone has a different body, with different sensitivities, injuries, shapes and lengths. This is something we respect, learn to accept and really learn to listen to. Please listen to your body. I teach to all levels, beginner to advanced. This way you can practice where your body is at each class. Challenge yourself and or go easier, only you know your body and what it needs each day!

I love the simplicity and challenge of Pilates. My goal is to have you leave with a slight ab burn!
All you need is you, and your mat! Can't wait to meet you there :)

Meet Sarah Kloepfer
Hello, I'm Sarah! My heart and center begin with my family - 17 wonderful years with my husband, Dan, and the joy of parenting 4 spirited daughters. A devoted dog lover, I find happiness with a canine companion by my side. While my trade is in interior painting, I've recently taken an exciting step into teaching.

Around five years ago, I discovered the transformative power of yoga, and it has become a life-changing habit. Strengthening me inside and out, it started as a pursuit for "me time" and the health benefits. A year ago, I ventured out of my comfort zone and completed my YTT 200-hour teaching program with Body Mind Connect in 2021 - an experience that was rewarding, a bit nerve-wracking and limit-pushing.

As a new teacher, my passion lies in traditional yoga, cherishing the salutations, consistent body memory, and flow. Yet, I also enjoy a spicy class that challenges strength, balance, and inner self. I'm thrilled to embark on this next chapter, sharing my journey and growing in gratitude with you on the mat.

Meet Marnie
Hello Everyone,
I am Marnie, mother of 5 wonderful children and two fur babies (cats) and of course my husband of 20 + years. I spent many years working and residing in London, about 5 years ago we made the move to Dorchester and just last year I starting working at Ingersoll/ Tillsonburg Hospital as it was close to home. I love this community and the wonderful folks in it.
My yoga journey started many years ago in which I practiced hot yoga multiple days a week in a London studio. My daily practice helped control my low back pain and mobility which I sustained in a workplace injury. Coming to my mat gave me a sense of peace at the end of my day, not to mention how amazing I felt when I left the studio. When the opportunity presented itself, I decided to sign up for a 200-hour yoga teacher training course with body, mind, connect. What a humble experience that taught me this journey is just the beginning of a lifelong process for me
Off the mat you may find me surrounded by my second passion…..animals. From rescuing strays to volunteering at a local animal shelter I love to help the vulnerable. Practicing Ahimsa (nonviolence)
I look forward to guiding you on your mat, sharing energy and breath as we explore this beautiful practice together.

My Philosophy
The ultimate goal for me to help my students to understand what Yoga truly is. Yoga is the realization of the true self, by transcending the mind, we dive deeper than the world around us to discover the truth of who we truly are. We begin to release the constructs, labels and roles we play in this life, and allow ourselves to be liberated from the illusion that we are separate, broken and disconnected.

We are infinitely and unconditionally loved. Your worth is untouchable. Open your heart to yourself, see everyone around you is just doing their best. In this world, spread love and kindness to all you meet.
